He who has ears should hear.
Luke 8:9-10, 18, 21 You must take heed just how you hear.
This word was spread both far and near.
For some will think it's just a story.
But `tis to you an allegory
Of the kingdom mysteries that only we
Disciples see.
Oh, hear His words and do them.
Luke 8:11-14 There is the seed beside the way
Which Satan comes and takes away.
The seed on rocky ground is quick to grow,
But in the times of trial people go.
And the seed sown among thorns brings constantly
Anxiety.
Riches and pleasures choke it.
Luke 8:11-14 That which is sown in the good ground:
A noble heart the seed has found.
They hear the Word and also hold it fast
And can bear fruit that through all trials will last.
And the word of God in them becomes a light
That shines so bright,
And all who come may see it.
Luke 8:19-21 Then, as the Lord's own family
Came near to touch Him naturally
They heard Him speaking out to others,
“This is My mother and My brothers:
Only those who hear the Word of God and do!”
It's up to you.
Luke 11:28 Oh, hear the Word and keep it.
Luke 8:21-25 The Lord spoke words so loud and clear.
Obey it now and do not fear.
“Let us go over to the other side.”
And then a storm comes with a raging tide.
“Oh, Lord, wake up. Don't You see what's going on?
We all might drown.”
“Where is your faith, my brothers?”
Luke 8:26-38 He cast the demons from a man
The crowd would “hear,” not understand
That Jesus Christ had come to free them;
The Son of God they begged to leave them!
Luke 8:43-48 Yet a woman, weak and frail, for many years
Despite her fears
Fought through a crowd and touched Him.
“Daughter, your faith has healed you.”
“He who has ears must Hear Him.”
